Will Supervisors Vote on Conditional Use Permit at December 4th Meeting?

November 27, 2023 by Paul Crowe

The Venango Township supervisors have still not announced if they will vote on the conditional use permit requested by Birch Creek at the next meeting on December 4th or whether there will be a special meeting on another date in December. This may be your last chance to let them know how you feel about the massive clear cutting of trees to accommodate the installation of hundreds of acres of solar panels in the township.

This is your township. Be sure you’re at the meeting to let them know. December 4th at 7PM.

The planning commission already rejected it it should be no vote to begin with. And anyone who’s done any research on this can see that there’s problems with these solar fields and communities throughout the nation. I don’t see how anyone would be having trouble checking the boxes off to scrap this whole idea

Please do not approve, agree to, or vote for the conditional use of land that would green light the zoning change, or the proposed solar farm.

    Thank you.

Why solar developers never understand

It is difficult to get a man to understand
something, when his salary depends upon
his not understanding it.

~ Upton Sinclair

It’s not ON-demand, it’s NO-demand

Solar energy is 'no-demand' electricity.
If the sun isn't shining
and you demand electricity,
the answer is no.

Unfortunately

The less you know about grid scale solar
The more you'll like it
