Venango Township Supervisors Planning to Approve Wilson Solar Settlement?

December 1, 2024 by Paul Crowe 4 Comments

It appears the Venango Township Supervisors, at their meeting on 12-2-2024, are planning to approve an agreement to settle the land use appeal with Wilson Solar.

If the residents of Venango Township have something to say about this, it would be advisable to attend the supervisors meeting and voice your opinion.

You can review the settlement and agenda at the links below:

Unbelievable! Why were meetings held, why were votes taken, why did the planning commission say no? All so 3 supervisors can do exactly what they wanted from the beginning. Looks Iike none of you will be re-elected. I would love to know what you 3 supervisors are getting to vote this way. Are your families getting paid off? Thanks for nothing.

Biden’s Green Agenda incentives moves forward in our community making for brown landscape and a wasteland when it all goes belly up. PA is not “prime area for solar”, this contract will not stand up. These are your new “snake oil salesmen”. I’d rather pay for a study on the mating call of crickets. There will be skeletons of solar panels that are neglected, outdated, unrepairable or obsolete on these properties that can not be disposed of. This is a joke, a scam and a fleecing of community members sucked in by the con of a quick buck. Greed and incompetence wins folks. Enjoy the eyesores! Peace. ✌🏻

Why solar developers never understand

It is difficult to get a man to understand
something, when his salary depends upon
his not understanding it.

~ Upton Sinclair

It’s not ON-demand, it’s NO-demand

Solar energy is 'no-demand' electricity.
If the sun isn't shining
and you demand electricity,
the answer is no.

Unfortunately

The less you know about grid scale solar
The more you'll like it
